Hearty Braised Beef with Autumn Vegetables

Fast Lane Sunday Supper: Tender braised beef in a tangy brown gravy with roasted root vegetables and baby potatoes.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Place dutch oven or oven-safe pot on med.-high heat and add 1 Tbsp of olive oil.
2.Season ranch steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Add to pot and sear steaks on both sides for 2 min. Let steaks brown on both sides but not cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3.Add gravy to pot with 1 cup of water. Stir to combine and bring to low boil for 1 min. Add vegetables and steaks and stir to coat. Cover pot with lid or foil and bake in oven for 1 hour.
4.Remove from oven and let rest for 5 min. If desired, shred beef and serve with remaining gravy and vegetables.
