
Hearty Chicken and Wild Rice Soup with Breadsticks
Guest Favorite This delicious creamy soup is loaded with chicken, a wild rice blend and lots of veggies. A perfect easy home-cooked dinner to warm you up on a chilly night.
Medium Instructions
Thaw in refrigerator
1.Preheat oven to 400°F
2.In a large pot on stove top over medium heat, add 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Add chicken, rice, and veggie bag, stir until chicken starts to cook, approximately 5-7 min.
3.Add soup base bag and whisk to combine. Add 3 cups water, whisk again and bring to boil.
4.Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 min until rice is tender.
OPTION: Add 1/2 cup water or chicken stock or until desired consistency.
5.Meanwhile, place baby breadsticks on a sprayed baking sheet and bake 4-6 minutes until golden.
CROCKPOT:1.In a large pot on stove top over medium heat, add 2 Tbsp. olive oil.
